The mother of two said goodbye to the marriage since as her husband, Halterman had filed the necessary paperwork to make it official. The couple, who have been married for almost four years and have been together for almost ten years altogether are due in court this week on March 22 for proceedings.

Rumors surfaced a few weeks ago that the marriage was over when social media officials learned that Slaton had moved out of the home she shared with Halterman and their two sons Gage, 2, and Glenn, seven months.

Haltermanm, 40, filed to dissolve the marriage from Slaton, 35, according to Kentucky court records obtained by Connected.

The reality TV couple supposedly called it quits in February. Resources are shared with, Sun “Amy says Michael is lazy and jealous of his attention to the kids.” The source also shared that “They have been facing problems since last year.”

Some of the drama played out on the latest episode of the hit TLC show, Slaton who just gave birth to their youngest child was upset with Halterman because he didn’t seem to be helping with anything.

“You shouldn’t be doing this alone,” said one of Slaton’s sisters. “You’re married and have a husband, and he’s supposed to be a father too.” Meanwhile, Halterman lay back in a chair and sipped beer and laughed with friends.

The scene really does not look good and clearly foreshadows what is happening today.

Slaton also shared with Sun last February that she and Halterman were considering taking a break from filming the show. He had a problem with the time taken. “If they cut my time, I’d probably be fine,” he said of the shoot.

“I like the crew the most, filming can be stressful, you’re there all day and you have to say things over and over. I love the relationship with the crew. But he is stressed now [Gage] needs a lot of attention.”

Just a few months ago Slaton praised her husband for being so supportive. “I can tell him anything and everything. And Michael was very supportive of me helping Tammy.”

Back in 2020 when the show premiered, he introduced Halterman as his world. “My husband Michael, he means the world to me. Michael and I just got married but we’ve been together for four years now.”

It’s different to some of the ways he portrays her on the show currently. “Dad didn’t pretend. Sometimes I feel like I have three children,” he muttered to himself during filming once.

One thing she’s eternally grateful for is her two sons and seeing as she took them with her when she moved earlier this year, we can assume she’s probably the ultimate parent.
