The reality star, who underwent bariatric surgery late last year, told People magazine that he “feels great” and is “grateful to be alive,” adding that it’s “nice to be advanced” so much.
Tammy said, “I woke up and had surgery. I can make my lungs strong enough to get my truck [tracheostomy tube for breathing] out, and recently, the doctor told me not to use my oxygen machine during the day.”
He continued, “Now I only wear oxygen and my BiPap machine at night. I monitor my oxygen levels throughout the day and keep my machine on hand in case I need it.”
“I feel great! I’m grateful to be alive, and it’s fun to grow as I am,” added the reality TV star.
