Two people were killed and another injured in a three-vehicle crash and fire involving a tanker trailer carrying jet fuel on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
A vehicle with a flat tire was stopped in the right northbound lane of the Northeast Extension of Interstate 476 in Worcester Township with a flat tire when other drivers stopped with their hazard lights on to help on Saturday morning, police told WPVI.
A tanker truck driving behind them could not stop in time and crashed into both vehicles, causing a major fire, police said.
The tanker driver and the driver of the second vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to a local hospital. Their injuries and conditions are unknown.
The victim has not yet been identified.

Video provided to WPVI by a passerby shows the scene of the violent crash, located about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia, just as responders arrived.
