A 24-year-old driver crashed into a parked truck in the Bronx early Sunday morning, killing its two passengers, police said.
The driver, who has not been identified, crashed his white Chrysler 300 into a large red truck parked near the intersection of Bryant and Viele Avenues at about 3:28 a.m.
A 21-year-old man in the front passenger seat and an unidentified woman sitting in the back were rushed to Lincoln Hospital, but both died from their injuries, New York City police said.
Another woman sitting in the back was also injured and taken to St. Barnabas, the officer added.
The driver was taken to Harlem Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. The truck involved in the accident was unoccupied at the time of the incident, police said.

Images of the aftermath show the Chrysler completely destroyed in the crash, with the truck showing damage to its front hood and bumper.
No arrests have been made yet, and police are still investigating the crash to determine if the driver will face any charges.
