When asked about rodeo queens, she said, “Some people believe it’s rigged in rodeo queens.” But it’s a whole other story when it comes to horse riding. It just depends on your performance.”
Throughout their marriage, the couple made their home in Argyle, Texas, close to the rodeo. “We have 23 acres and live on a horse barn,” Debbie stated. We designed it this way so we could hear the horse if there was a problem. Our objective is to have our own property where we can live, have horses, and have an arena.” Walt Garrison’s long and happy marriage to Debbie ended in 2005, producing two children, most notably their son Marty.
