Singer Taylor Swift received an unwelcome guest at her Rhode Island property earlier this week.

The 33-year-old singer’s personal security team tried to get the intruder to be safely removed from the premises of his Rhode Island home.
The woman has been identified as Kimberly Meyer, 54, and she is believed to be a repeat offender. According to TMZ, Meyer allegedly tried to break into Swift’s property before, according to police.

Just days before the release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” police responded to a call at Swift’s home, which was reportedly surrounded by signs warning people not to trespass.
The woman was arrested after the police were called. TMZ also captured a photo of Meyer being handcuffed. He reportedly refused to comply with security requests to leave the property.
Meyer was charged with one count of misdemeanor trespassing (per TMZ) and later released. He is expected to appear in court on Friday, July 14.
The status of Swift who was present at the residence at the time was unknown. However, he is thought to have been at the property for the Independence Day weekend. The “Back To December” singer hosted a Fourth of July party featuring several celebrities, including Selena Gomez and the HAIM sisters.
No further details are known at this time.

Swift releases third re-recording of her ‘Taylor’s Version’ series; he announced he would re-record his first six albums in 2019, following the purchase of his original masters.
“Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” kicks off the series, with “Red (Taylor’s Version)” following a few months later, in 2021. Each album features a series of previously unreleased ‘From The Vault’ songs left over from the original recordings. “Fearless” was originally released in 2008 with “Speak Now” following two years later, and “Red” following two years after that.
“Speak Now” includes the hits “Mine,” “Mean,” and “Dear John.” “Dear John” is an album cut that has been speculated about Swift’s ex, musician John Mayer. Mayer was in her thirties while she and Swift dated briefly; he is only 19 years old.

“Speak Now (Taylor Version)” was announced on the first of three Nashville dates on Swift’s highly anticipated ‘Eras Tour,’ which runs through August.
The “Ours” singer commemorated the release of the album on his Instagram yesterday.
Posting a photo of herself lying on the ground, surrounded by purple flowers, Swift wrote, “It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It was an album I wrote alone about the desires, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I went through as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making playlist after playlist, obsessing over the right way to tell a story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left out some songs that I’m still proud of now.”
“So you have 6 tracks From The Vault! I recorded this album when I was 32 years old (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brings fill me with nostalgia and appreciation,” he continued. “For life, for you, because I can reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that broke our fall. Talk Now (MY VERSION!) is out now.”
