Aakarshi Kashyap was born on Friday, 24 August 2001 (age 21; in 2022) in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He attended Delhi Public School, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh.
He later attended Seth RCS College of Arts & Commerce (formerly Durg University), Durg, Chhattisgarh. He has completed his studies in art. At the age of 8, he became interested in badminton and started playing the game. After seeing his talent, his father decided to give him professional training in badminton. In 2009, he joined the Ravi Shankar Stadium, Durg, and did training under his coach Sanjay Mishra.

Aakarshi’s father, Sanjeev Kashyap, is a dermatologist. His mother’s name is Amita Kashyap. He has a younger brother named Shreyash Kashyap.
Career
While in school, he participated in various inter-school badminton competitions. On 24 August 2014, he participated in the All India Sub Junior Level Badminton Championship in Sivakasi, Tamilnadu, and won his first gold. At the 25th Krishna Khaitan Memorial Junior Badminton Tournament (2016), she won the double crown in girls’ U-17 and U-19 singles. He then won a bronze medal at the U-15 and U-17 Asian youth championships held in Kudus, Indonesia. He went on to win the U-17 and U-19 matches in the 42nd Junior National Badminton Championship, Guwahati. Till 2022, one of her best matches was in January 2018 against Gayathri Gopichand. The match went on for 63 minutes and was held in Bengaluru. He has participated in many badminton tournaments, such as Sunrise All India Senior Position Badminton Championship (2019), Kenya International (2020), Uber Cup (2022), Asian Games (2022), and Commonwealth Games (2022).
