Nick Carter Pays Tribute To Bobbie Jean Carter’s Late Sister
Nick paid tribute to his sister by posting a childhood photo of the two of them holding hands, accompanied by an emotional caption that read in part:
“It may take a lifetime to fully process the losses my family has endured over the years – most recently, with the sudden death of our sister Bobbie Jean. I’m really heartbroken.”
He expressed his gratitude for the kind words and love people have shown since Bobbie’s sudden passing, adding that he was reminded of how short life is and how important it is to cherish the precious moments shared with loved ones.
“I know he has finally made peace with God. I love you BJ,” wrote Nick in the closing caption. The singer’s comment section was filled with fans and friends who shared his sadness and poured out words of encouragement.
Sharna Burgess wrote, “I’m so sorry Nick, I can’t imagine how hard this is. Brian and I are sending you so much love,” as another fan added: “I just want to give you the biggest hug. Sending you and your family all love and light. We love you and we got you, always.”
Another user prayed for Nick to be given the strength to “deal with this terrible loss,” while another follower reminded the musician that they are thinking of him and his beautiful family.

Bobbie died at the age of 41, and according to a statement released by her mother, Jane Carter, the death was a shock. Parents ask for time to grieve privately, as losing a young child is a painful experience for any parent.
She urged people to pray for her granddaughter, Bella, Bobbie’s 8-year-old daughter, who is now an orphan because her father has also died. The late Bobbie had five siblings but only two are left — Backstreet Boys member Nick and Aaron’s twin Angel Carter.
Aaron previously died in a tragic bathtub incident in November 2022, and toxicology reports confirmed that difluoroethane and Xanax were in his system at the time of his death.
Inhaling toxic gas and taking Xanax left Aaron incapacitated in the bathtub, and he was unable to breathe while submerged, eventually leading to his death.

The events of Aaron’s passing left Nick devastated as he admitted to still processing the loss a year after it happened. Bobbie’s closeness with Aaron is noteworthy as she took on the role of his wardrobe stylist while he was on tour and appeared on the family’s reality show “House of Carters.”
He also contributed to Aaron’s music, most notably his albums, “Aaron Carter and “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It).” Bobbie’s death is now the third tragedy to befall the Carter family, who also lost Leslie Carter in 2012.
Jane Carter Is Now the Primary Caretaker of the Late Stylist’s Daughter
Despite the passing of her parents, Bella is in safe hands as her grandmother and late mother Bobbie have taken over the role of primary parent. The 8-year-old lived with his late mother before her death, and close sources confirmed they maintained a relatively private lifestyle.
However, The Blast shared that Bobbie struggled with substance abuse and addiction during her lifetime. He was also arrested once for allegedly stealing from Hobby Lobby in Florida, along with drug-related charges.
Late Bobbie was placed on suicide watch after she allegedly made threats to kill herself as she headed into custody following the arrest.
He was later held on a $500 bond for the $55 retail theft charge, with a court appearance scheduled for July 10, 2024, and another court date on July 13 for the possession of a controlled substance charge, which carries a $2000 bond.
