Dennis DJ Hernandez, brother of quarterback Aaron, seems to have had enough. Last week, the former football player himself blamed the media, starting with ESPN for ruining his family.

Last week, the 36-year-old went to the ESPN studios in an Uber but was turned away at the entrance. That’s when security claims to have seen an unknown passenger get out of the uber, throw something away, get back into the uber and drive away.

This incident happened on March 23 around 3 pm at the Bristol, Conn. campus. Strangely, this incident happened right after the police were asked to conduct a welfare check on the DJ after he allegedly made allegations that he wanted to break windows in the State Capital and on ESPN.

When the police were called, they investigated an object in a white plastic bag. It was a brick with a note that sounded like a warning to all media outlets.

“To all the media, it’s time for you all to see [sic] media effects on all family members. Since you are a worldwide leader perhaps you can lead the way media and messages are delivered step by step. Clean up!”

The note was signed, “Sincerely, Dennis J. Hernandez.” Police also shared that they spoke with a security guard who said he was “90 percent positive” that it was DJ who threw the brick. They know him because he is also a former Division 1 football player.

When police finally contacted DJ, he admitted to being on ESPN but told police he “didn’t want to talk about the incident.”

The former footballer who was arrested for breach of peace hours has been released and will appear in court next month to resolve this incident. The police also informed DJ that he is no longer allowed to attend the ESPN campus and if he violates it, he can be arrested for trespassing.

DJ “stated he understood.” DJ has been struggling with his mental health recently. On March 8, police claimed they tried to stop DJ while he was driving a Hyundai. At one point, he drove across the meadow in front of the Cheshire Correctional Institution.

He then raced through a red light instead of stopping for the police, who signaled him to stop. later on Terri Hernandez, DJ and Aaron’s mother informed police that her son had been “acting very strange and she believed he needed to be mentally evaluated at the hospital.”

DJ was taken down “after a brief foot chase.” Police documents obtained by TMZ reflects that DJ may be suffering from a bipolar episode and also reveals that he’s driving erratically across Connecticut in an attempt to get arrested because “he doesn’t want to live at his mom’s house anymore.”
