Aaryaa Sharma was born on September 11 in Mumbai. Later, he moved to London with his family, where he studied. After completing his formal studies, he worked as an area manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Later, he decided to pursue his passion and make a career in acting. So, he decided to leave his job and return to Mumbai to pursue his dream.

His father, Tejendra Sharma, is a famous British Hindi writer. He was the first Hindi writer to receive The Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). His mother’s name is Indu Sharma; he died of cancer. He has two brothers. One of his brothers is called Mayank Sharma.

Television
In 2013, she appeared in the Sony TV show “Desh ki Beti… Nandini.” She played the role of Mona Patel in Zee TV’s “Jamai Raja” in 2014.

In 2016, she appeared as Vrinda Mehra in the StarPlus TV show “Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein.” She appeared in the StarPlus TV show “Love Ka Hai Intezaar,” which released in 2017. In 2018, she played the role of Roshnaq Siddiqui in Colors channel’s show “Bepannah.” She appeared as Manjari in the Sony TV show “Mere Dad Ki Dulhan,” which aired in 2019. She was cast to play the lead character, Sehban Azim’s mother, in Colors channel’s show “Spy Bahu” in 2022.

In 2022, she made her debut in the Bollywood film “Laal Singh Chaddha” where she played a supporting role of a woman in a train. In an interview, he revealed how he felt when he was offered a role in the film and got the chance to work with actor Aamir Khan. He said,
It’s a big banner film and I’m excited. I am forever grateful to the universe for giving me this opportunity to be a part of this wonderful film. I want to work with the Perfectionist of Bollywood – Aamir Khan. It was on my bucket list to work with Aamir sir and it feels like now my dream has finally come true. I also believe in the saying ‘Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaaho toh saari qaayenaat usey tumse milaane mein lag jaati hai’. God is very good and I am very happy.”

- Aaryaa is mentioned as Deepti Sharma in several television shows in the credits. He calls Deepti his alter ego. He changed his name from Deepti to Aaryaa because of his love for the name Aaryaa. She also has an Instagram account with the username Deepti Sharma, where she regularly posts pictures of animals, buildings and nature clicked by her. In an interview, while talking about her name change, she said,
We do not have the power to choose our own name at our birth because we get it from our parents. It took me a while to decide to change my name. Since childhood, I have been bewitched by the name Aaryaa. I always thought that, if I had a daughter, I would name her Aaryaa. But then I thought, why not keep it to myself and for the rest of my life be called by the name I prefer to hear. Aaryaa is another name of goddess Durga Maa and Parvathi. It also means power and is associated with abundance, wealth and happiness. It sounds positive, which really matches my personality and aura.”
- According to Aaryaa, she had a crush on Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar when she was a teenager. He and his family used to call him Raju. He called her “Basspan ka Pyaar” in a social media post.

Life comes with surprises and I can’t wait to make a mark in Bollywood.”
