Abby Lee Miller’s comments about liking high school football players have landed her in troubled waters.
The reality star made the statement in a podcast interview, and it earned her criticism from TikTok users.

Speaking on Sofia Franklyn’s “Sofia with an F” podcast, Miller let slip that she still likes “high school football players.”
“I like high school football players…. I still love them,” the former “Dance Moms” star said while discussing Tom Cruise’s 1983 sports drama “All the Right Moves.”
The comment sparked a backlash on TikTok after one user posted a reaction video with the caption, “What do you think of what Abby said?”
Many TikTok users thought that Miller didn’t mean his comments the other way around because he doubled down on his views.
One said, “I was trying my best to be like ‘oh he must have meant it’ until he kept talking and I was like uhhhh.”
Another user said, “BRO HE SAID THE ONE IN HIGH SCHOOL WAS THE ONLY WAY TO TAKE IT.”

Earlier that month, Miller revealed whether there was still hope for reconciliation between him and Ziegler.
Miller was Ziegler’s dance instructor for many years, and the two shared a close relationship, appearing together on the reality TV show Dance Moms for six seasons.
In their dispute, Miller attributed the blame not only to Ziegler but also to her sister and mother. Although she didn’t go into detail about why their relationship soured, she mentioned on a podcast with Franklin that not getting a share of the profits from Ziegler’s song “It’s a Girl Party” played a role.
“The song that got the No. 1 in three countries on iTunes, ‘It’s a Girl Party.’ I produced it. I bought the song. I do everything for the child. Mack Z is my creation,” he said, per People magazine.
“The video itself was $27,000 and I got my $27,000 back right away because the video also went No. 1, but I never saw a cent from the music,” he added. “And I have a 360 deal with Mackenzie. So where?”

On Ziegler’s part, leaving Miller was because he was overwhelmed by what he described as a “toxic” experience, per se Many people.
“He was disappointed [when I left]. For a long time, we felt very guilty,” Ziegler recalled of Miller. “He trains me, he helps me, but also, I know I’ll be fine without him and I’m sick of being in a toxic environment.”

In January, Miller finally sold the dance studio where she trained Ziegler to a local couple, who planned to turn it into a care center. In an Instagram video at the time, she said it was the right career decision for her life but also said the choice was bittersweet.
