Abhijeet Khandkekar is an Indian television and film actor. She is best known for her roles in the Marathi TV shows Maziya Priyala Preet Kalena (2010) and Mazhya Navryachi Bayko (2016).

He had a keen interest in anchoring, which led him to a job as a Radio Jockey at Radio Mirchi in 2006. He worked as an RJ for a year, and later, he started acting in Marathi films and television serials.

Television
In 2009, Abhijeet participated in a reality show, Maharashtracha Superstar, on Zee Marathi. He hosted the same show in 2020. He appeared as Abhijeet Pendse in the popular show Maziya Priyala Preet Kalena, created by Ekta Kapoor and aired from 2010 to 2011 on Zee Marathi. He played the lead role of Gurunath Vasant Subhedar in one of the top five Marathi shows of 2016, Majhya Navaryachi Bayko, which ran for almost four years. She hosted Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards in 2018 and 2019. In May 2022, she started working as Lavdya Malhar Kamat, the main lead of Star Pravah show Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe.
Movie
Abhijeet made his debut in the film industry with the Marathi film Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda as Sayaji Nimbalkar in 2013. He was the lead in the film Mamachya Gavala Jaaoo Yaa, which was released in 2014. He did a Marathi political drama film called Dhol Taashe in 2015. In 2017, he appeared as Sameer Karandikar in the film, Dhyanimani. He worked in the film, Baba (2019), the first Marathi film produced by Indian actor Sanjay Dutt’s production house. He has done many films in the Marathi film industry such as Bhay (2018), Me Pan Sachin (2019), and Dharmaveer (2022). He appeared in the high-rated movie, Baal Bhaarti which released on December 2, 2022.

Abhijeet acted in MX Player’s series, Idiot Box, in a supporting role which aired in 2020. He is the host of Marathi crime horror TV series Criminals: Chahul Gunhegaranchi, 2021 to 2022 on SonyLIV. He also did a tv series for Planet Marathi, Soppa Nasta Kahi, in 2021. He did a Hindi web series, Duranga, which is a remake of the Korean drama Flower of Evil which was released on ZEE5 in 2022.
