Career
After completing his formal education, Abhishek Sinha moved to Mumbai, where he started working as a senior copywriter at Ogilvy and Mather in October 2003. He worked there until June 2009. He worked as a creative director at an advertising agency called Leo Burnett Worldwide in June 2009 and worked in it as a creative director until February 2014. From February 2014 to March 2019, Abhishek Sinha worked at Curious as a director and screenwriter. He directed a short film titled Not Out in 2015. In 2017, he directed Darshan Raval’s music video Tera Zikr. In April 2019, Abhishek Sinha joined Caffeine Films as a screenwriter and director in Mumbai. In the same year, he directed Darshan Raval’s music video, Hawa Banke. Abhishek has directed many commercials for Cadbury. In 2022, he began directing his first feature film Bas Karo Aunty. While talking about the film, in an interview, he said,
Nothing beats the thrill of bringing a relatable story to an audience for a filmmaker. I am excited to direct a film written by my mentor and one of my closest friends Nitesh Tiwari in collaboration with Nikhil Mehrotra along with established producers like Star Studios, RSVP, Sid Roy Kapur films and Earthsky productions helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari .”
