Reportedly, in 2020, Abigail and her boyfriend, Sanam, were called by the Mumbai branch of the Narcotics Control Bureau and their house was raided. Mumbai NCB registered a case against Sanam and Abigail for drug possession under Section 20 of the NDPS after the seizure of Charas (marijuana) at their house in Juhu, Mumbai. According to sources, Anuj, who was allegedly a drug dealer, after being arrested by NCB, revealed the names of Abigail, Sanam Johar, and 20 other television industry celebrities who were allegedly involved in the drug case.
