Abrar Qazi is an Indian actor. He rose to fame with the film “Laila Majnu.”

Abrar Qazi was born in Srinagar into a Muslim Family. He did his schooling from Srinagar’s Tyndale Biscoe School and went to Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar to pursue his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). Thereafter, he got himself enrolled in Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir to complete his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism.
Abrar was good at acting from his childhood and he often participated in stage competitions and events in his school days. After completing his education, he wanted to make a career in filmmaking and acting. However, he was unable to leave Kashmir due to some family constraints. He, then, started making films on social issues and after completing his education relocated to Delhi.

Career
Abrar started his career as a backstage manager in plays. During his stay in Delhi, he also attended some acting workshops. He, then, relocated to Kashmir to complete his post graduation. Later, he started working as a graphics designer in a private firm in Srinagar. Thereafter, he joined kJ Productions in Srinagar as an editor. After years of struggle, he bagged the role of Zaid in the film “Laila Majnu.”
In 2019, he made his television debut with the TV serial “Gathbandhan” in which he played the role of Dombivli gangster Ghaghu.
