After a year full of revelations about his career as a former child star, Nikolas, 30, did not go into detail with certain tweets.
Nikolas’ cryptic tweet follows news that “Zoey 101” will not only be getting the reunion treatment but will be adapted into a movie as well. Nikolas played Nicole, Zoey Jamie Lynn Spears’ best friend for two seasons on the Nickelodeon series. “Zoey 101” ran from 2005 to 2008.
Nikolas is known to be very candid about his experiences on set, having discussed key meetings with disgraced series creator Dan Schneider and Spears’ sister Britney.
Nikolas’ Time On The Nickelodeon Series Is Marked With Not-So-Great Memories
Before we get into Nikolas’ tweets, let’s take a look back at some of the famous stories he’s shared publicly about his “Zoey 101” day.
The Blast has covered many of Nikolas’ revelations, including stories related to Scheider.
2022 fueled the ongoing conversation surrounding the former Nickelodeon staple, especially with the release of former “iCarly” star Jennette McCurdy’s memoir, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.” McCurdy did not refer to Schneider by name; whenever Scheider is mentioned, McCurdy christens him “creator.” Among the stories McCurdy recalls in the book are allegations that Schneider pressured underage actors and actresses to drink alcohol. Nickolas also spoke about several alleged incidents involving Schneider, including his reported infatuation with the legs of a young cast member.
During a podcast appearance last year, Nikolas claimed Schneider would take pictures of their feet, and offered a monetary exchange in exchange.
“He had a digital camera, and he would go around with money and ask to take pictures of children’s feet – their toes,” he revealed to “Vulnerable” podcast host Christy Carlson Romano, according to the Daily Mail according to our report, “I remember thinking it was strange, and almost stupid, as a child,” says Nikolas.
Nikolas also later recalled the story where Britney Spears allegedly confronted him over rumors she had bullied Jamie Lynn on set; Spears’ sister later apologized for the incident.
The young actor described the incident as a “moment of total blackout” where Spears reportedly told him she would “never have a career again.”
When Nikolas recalled the moment in another podcast interview, he revealed he understood the “Gimme More” singer “through his own thing at the time.”
Britney will apologize to Nikolas on Twitter, where she will also give her own account of the story.
After Jamie Lynn allegedly recalled that she had been bullied by Nikolas, Spears tweeted, “The assistant director and my mom put in a room just shut up !!!,” “My sister was exactly like my daughter growing up… so I’m sorry for my. ignorance for yelling at you when I clearly don’t know what’s really going on !!!”
Spears also tweeted Nikolas about how she didn’t realize “how good my family is with LANGUAGE ACTING !!!” at that time.
