Adele has set the record straight on her relationship status!
The “Easy on Me” performer appeared to be poking fun at comments about her partner Rich Paul’s role in her life during her minutes-long acceptance speech at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment gala held recently.
The announcement comes amid speculation that Adele and Paul have walked down the aisle in the past month.

He later shared, “I’m not sure what to expect from this event tonight. The scholarship brought tears to my eyes,” before focusing on several people off camera. He continued:
“Girl, congratulations. Really nice to see you. My boyfriend Rich is more in costume so I’ll cry at anything but obviously it’s so worth it.”
Later during the ten-minute speech, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer expressed his gratitude to his late mother for raising him to be a “proper man.”
“I actually have many men in my life who I love and who love me, but in the spirit of this morning and for fear of burning bras, I will thank their mothers and not them,” she said, adding:
“I would like to thank Minerva Martin. Thanks to them for raising [a] good man that [does] do not think that women’s power diminishes their own. That’s the right guy. Thank you.”
The Grammy Award winner previously set people’s engines roaring when she allegedly confirmed that she and Paul were married. Adele reportedly shared the news of her marriage with the audience at the Alan Carr show in Los Angeles last month.
An eyewitness, who appeared to be at the comedy event recounted, “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone had gotten married recently and Adele shouted, ‘I’m married.’”

While confirming that the English star did indeed say “I do,” a second audience member, who claimed to be at the Dynasty Typewriter theater that night, revealed, “Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her safety was just came in to get his snacks. He didn’t care if people knew he was there making fun of him [Carr]; they are good friends.”
The confirmation follows earlier talk of a memorable moment in September when Adele spilled some tea on her personal life – and secret marriage – during her Vegas residency when she rejected concert goers’ advances.
As seen in a viral TikTok clip, during the show, a fan proposed to the mother of one, shouting, “Will you marry me?” In response, the BRIT School graduate stated, “You can’t marry me. I am honest, my love, and my husband is here tonight.”
Primetime Emmy Award Winner Tries to Hide Her Wedding Ring
Even more fuel was added to the fire when Adele appeared in public days after the “I do” saga wearing huge bling on her wedding finger. The pop star and Paul were spotted sitting courtside at the Crypto.com arena, where the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, November 22.
For their first public appearance since their marriage speculation surfaced, the Golden Globe Award winner paired a cream knit sweater with a pair of green cargo pants, multiple gold chains and gold earrings. The 12-time Brit Award queen looked stunning with her hair slicked back, showing off her glamorous make-up.
Adele also radiated joy as she hugged Paul, who was wearing a zip-up jacket, faded jeans, a black baseball cap and white sneakers. The pair shared a laugh throughout the game, while the “Set Fire to the Rain” singer tried to hide her eye-catching glow under her cozy sweater.
