According to Daily Mail, during Adele’s recent performance for her Las Vegas residency, she paused to discuss the recent Titan Submersible tragedy. The singer asked his audience if they had ever been on a trip to see the wreckage of the Titanic, which lies at the bottom of the ocean. A video of Adele asking the question was uploaded on TikTok by one of the fans in attendance.

The Titan subtragedy is the death of five passengers in the sinking ship to see the remains of the Titanic. Adele said, “Before this week, how many people, if possible, would go down to the bottom of the ocean to see Titanic? Raise your hand.”

When it became clear that those who would take the trip were in the minority, he said it was no surprise that most of his fans voted against the risky journey to the bottom of the ocean.

She said, “I feel very safe here. My life is small. I don’t leave my house and that’s a choice. My life used to be big when I was young. But the bigger my career, the more scared and anxious I get.”

Adele said that she was eager to “come [to Vegas]” every weekend because “it felt like a night out and seeing my friends.” He added, “I usually get butterflies and I’m nervous and I say a little stage prayer and cross my fingers, but I’m not worried about this show. It was the best four months of my career. This show has brought me so much joy. I love doing it.”

Later in the concert, Adele also spoke about the last-minute cancellation of her show last year. He called it “the worst thing I’ve ever felt in my career” but declared that he had bounced back and “as always, I crushed it.”
