Arrested for Possession of Cocaine
On August 8, 2017, Aditya Motwane was arrested at Abu Dhabi airport for possession of cocaine. He was detained separately by Abu Dhabi airport police for two days. A blood test confirmed he had taken drugs and was later sent for a forensic examination. Airport authorities later referred the case to public prosecution, leading to his arrest and imprisonment in Al Wathba prison in Abu Dhabi.
