Aditya Seal and his girlfriend Anushka Ranjan were in a relationship for over 4 years before getting engaged to each other on 17 November 2021. Aditya Seal proposed Anushka for marriage in Paris in October 2019 but the wedding could not take place due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Talking about his bond with his lady love, Aditya said,
We connected well in the first meeting itself, but I was hesitant to ask her out. I think he’s too cool for me. Gradually, I realized that Anushka is a very developed woman, independent and has a deeper understanding of situations and people than I do. He can get someone to open up with ease, and I find that ability very pleasing. But, when we started seeing each other regularly, we realized that we connected as people and we both really liked each other.”
Career
Aditya Seal started his acting career at the age of 14 with the Indian romantic film “Ek Chhotisi Love Story” opposite Manisha Koirala in 2002. Aditya played the role of a teenager who falls in love with a woman who lives in his neighborhood. The film was directed and produced by Shashilal K. Nair and was released on 13 September 2002. The film made headlines soon after its release as it featured some adult content which was not accepted by the majority of the audience in India. The Shiv Sena’s women’s wing burnt posters of the controversial film in a theater and also stopped its screening, in protest against an objectionable scene that portrayed actress Manisha Koirala in a bad light. The film as well as its cast received a huge response. According to sources, most of the erotic and sensational scenes in “Kishah Cinta Ek Chhotisi” were performed by Aditya’s body double. Aditya Seal, during a media interaction revealed that he was completely unaware of the story he was playing and being a part of. He said,
I don’t know about that movie. We shot it differently. I have a separate shot, the action is shot separately. They just make it look like I’m watching everything, but I don’t know what’s going on. The first time I saw the film was at the Gaiety Galaxy. We had the premiere there and I sat between my mom, dad, grandma and grandpa, and we witnessed the absolute magic.”
He further added,
To be honest, I didn’t realize what was happening at the time because I was immature, a late bloomer and didn’t know what was going on. I think my parents were scared, but they didn’t say anything in front of me, but I heard them say, “Yeh kya karwa diya“.”

In one of his interviews, Aditya also mentioned that when he met Anil Kapoor after the broadcast of “Ek Chhotisi Love Story,” he also spoke to him in a not-so-familiar tone. He narrated,
I once met Anil Kapoor and shyly told him that I was a huge fan. Since he has worked with Manishaji, I thought I should tell him that I have also done a film with him. When I told her about ‘Ek Chhotisi Love Story,’ she said, ‘You’re the man!’, in her usual excited tone.”
After the huge controversy of “Love Story Ek Chhotisi” and doing a small supporting role in Jaidev Chakraborty’s comedy-drama film “We R Friends,” Aditya Seal decided to take a break from acting and concentrate on his studies. He made a comeback in 2014, with the Hindi-language adult drama film “Purani Jeans.” Aditya portrays Samuel Joseph Lawrence aka Sam opposite Tanuj Virwani, Izabelle Leite, Param Baidwaan, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor. Next in 2016, she made her on-screen appearance in the Anubhav Sinha written and directed romantic drama film “Tum Bin II.” The film features Aditya Seal, Aashim Gulati, Neha Sharma, Kanwaljit Singh, and Meher Vij in lead roles. Aditya Seal rose to fame after he was part of Dharma Productions’ teenage romantic comedy drama film “Student of the Year 2.” The film is written by Arshad Sayed and directed by Punit Malhotra and co-produced by Karan Johar, Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Aditya Seal plays Manav Singh Randhawa, the underdog opposite Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday, and Tiger Shroff. After the success of the film Aditya got an opportunity to work with famous Bollywood filmmakers.

What I believe, what Ranbir (Kapoor) has done, his films may be successful, may not be successful, but he has worked because he has always been fair to the characters and roles he has played. I really adore that. There is no film where I feel it is a bad performance by Ranbir, never. The movies may be good or bad but he is brilliant. So he’s reinventing himself all the time, and that’s very important. It’s hard, but you have to keep at it.”
