Ajeeb Daastans is a 2021 Indian Hindi language anthology film, directed by four talented directors Shashank Khaitan, Kayoze Irani, Raj Mehta and Neeraj Ghaywan. The film is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and has a cast including Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Armaan Ralhan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nushratt Bharucha, Shefali Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari and others.
The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 16, 2021 and its first teaser was released on March 19, 2021. Lust Stories is produced under the Dharma Productions label.
Ajeeb Daastans has four short films that explore the ways in which unexpected twists trigger uncomfortable emotions hidden beneath fractured relationships.
Netflix describes the premise as:
“Ajeeb Daastaans is an anthology of four strangely different stories that explore fractured relationships and unexplored spaces. Stories set in diverse environments, explore jealousy, entitlement, prejudice and toxicity, which are often entangled in the heart of their relationship. Each story also takes you on a journey where someone will struggle with the moral dilemma of what is right and what is wrong, as the lines between them become blurred.”
