Biography
Al Boogie, whose real name is Alex Troegel, is a crane salesman in his late 30s from Shreveport, Louisiana. He auditioned for Season 23 of The Voice but failed to turn any seats with his performance of “TROUBLE” by Elvis Presley and Travis Tritt. Despite not participating in the show, he considered the experience a great opportunity to pursue his musical dreams.
Al Boogie has been involved in music for some time, performing as a solo acoustic act and as the lead singer of the band Ole Whiskey Revival, which formed in 2014 and released an eight-song, self-titled album in 2018. They also produced a music video for their song “Whiskey Makes It Spin.”
