Alec Baldwin Calls ‘Rust’ Completion ‘Nothing Less Than A Miracle’

Actor Alec Baldwin has finally finished filming the Western movie “Rust” and he considers the achievement “nothing less than a miracle.”

Production on the Western was halted in October 2021 when cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was struck and killed by a bullet in a gun that had been held by the “30 Rock” cast. Director Joel Souza was also hospitalized in the incident, but returned to finish the film along with most of the cast and crew.

Production moved from New Mexico to the Yellowstone Film Ranch in Montana and began filming in late April. By the end of May, production on the Western had wrapped, with Baldwin finishing filming himself just a week earlier.
