Alec Baldwin was pretty upset on Instagram last night, and rightly so, considering he was stuck on a plane trying to fly from Newark to Vancouver, “with no end in sight!”
Fans are feeling the 65-year-old, especially since he recently detailed a painful hip replacement.

When it comes to flying, it seems that celebrities have the same problems as other individuals, as Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to share his frustrations about being stuck on a plane a few hours ago.
The “It’s Complicated” star wrote, “6 and 1/2 hours on a plane, sitting at the gate, waiting to fly NEWARK to VANCOUVER. Never ending.”
He also added the hashtag, #HowWillGlobalWarmingEffectAirTravel.
Baldwin isn’t the only person affected by flight delays right now, as in the past 24 hours, there have been more than 7,000 delays reported across the US, with most of them coming from the thunderstorm-plagued Northeast. About 1,800 flights were canceled as well, due to the unsettled weather on the Atlantic coast.
A fan from Vancouver tried to send his cheery message,
“Oh, I want to hug you in Vancouver!”
“Coming to Vancouver?! Great! What project are you working on here?”
“It’s beautiful here in Vancouver. If you can get here.”
“Oh Vancouver!! You’ll love the fresh air when you come down.”
Funny thing is, Baldwin was just promoting one of his movies, “97 Minutes” which is all about airplanes!

Baldwin also recently told her fans about the painful hip replacement she underwent almost a month ago, making things even more complicated as she continued to decline the procedure for two years. In a video on Instagram, he told his followers, “I had my hip replaced on Tuesday last week. I had my left hip done in 2018, five years ago, and I had another one five days ago. The pain is gradually going away. … but it hurt a lot. But as we say in my house, ‘It’s the pain that ends the pain.'”
As she was stuck on the plane for hours, fans felt for her, writing, “How’s that hip on you?”
Others feel that air travel “suits” her, leaving her compliments like,
“You look really good here. Flying tires me out.”
“But an interesting view…. younger than usual! Fly more often!”
“Maybe, but your hair looks great!!’
Another fan also made a little joke, telling Baldwin, “That’s bad…but at least you look good sitting there… Start playing Words with Friends…. Oops sorry!”
This refers to an incident in 2011 when Baldwin was pulled over for allegedly disobeying airline staff when asked to hang up his phone because he was playing the game “Words with Friends”, something he was almost addicted to.

In another post, Baldwin almost glared at the camera as she captioned the “angry face” image, “Why are US airlines so shy? Sitting here for 6 and 1/2 hours.”
Fans immediately sympathized with the actor, sensing his annoyance as they commented:
“It should be illegal to make people sit on planes.”
“Not true. I think after 3 you can go back to the gate and deplane/change planes. Breathe deeply. Maybe start singing or doing one of your amazing effects. Hopefully it will be finished soon. Safe journey.”
“I have taken 150 flights in the last 3 years. It took a turn for the worst. Expect to be delayed, delayed or canceled. Give yourself 2 extra days of travel flexibility if flying. This is the new norm.”
“I do not know. It’s as if they’ve gone back in time ignoring all the technology available to plan accordingly. Delayed & canceled is now par. It doesn’t make sense.”
More fans tried to downplay the time as they suggested she took a nap as her children must have tired her out. Another noted that it would be far, far worse if the children and family were with her, a fact all parents of young children will agree on.
Then again, Baldwin often mentions how his family is his comfort…
