He is the ONE and ONLY

A private family funeral was held in Los Angeles, CA. on Wednesday, January 4.
There will be a second, larger “Celebration of Life” party in the coming months that will allow close friends and people considered tWitch’s “extended family” to attend.
Reportedly Ellen DeGeneres and many “Ellen Show” colleagues will attend the “Celebration of Life” ceremony.
As we previously reported, the talk show DJ took his own life at the age of 40 on December 13.

Her “Ellen Show” family has been very vocal about her passing, and they have been honoring her in many ways on social media.
Before the holidays, DeGeneres released a Facebook message about her best friend.
The former talk show host and best friend of tWitch looks back on the 11 days since he took his own life.
“Hey everyone, erm, I just want to say that the last 11 days have been difficult for everyone. Everyone is in pain, and trying to understand it and we will never understand it,” he admitted.
Ellen then explained how everyone around the world who watches tWitch or meets her in person can “respect her.”
Ellen Urges Everyone to Honor the tWitch With Dancing & Laughing
“Holidays are hard I think, anyway. But in honor of tWitch, I think the best thing we can do is laugh, hug each other and play games, and dance and sing,” Ellen said. “That’s how we honor him, is that we do what he loves to do, which is dance. He LOVES music, he loves games, so, we did it.”
tWtich joined “The Ellen Show” in 2014 and was featured on the show until its final episode in 2022.
Ellen promoted tWitch to executive producer of her long-running daytime talk show in 2020.

He went on to discuss what the grieving process was like.
“And I know it seems difficult, seems impossible. But that’s how we respect it and hug each other and tell each other we love each other and let people know we’re there for them and check on other people,” he added. “So, happy holidays everyone, and um, I know it’s not a happy holiday, but he’s a light hearted person like everyone in the comments said.”
Ellen ended her message by once again telling her fans, “Let’s respect him and think about him and send love to each other.”
