The online criticism began after Milano updated his X account with a photo of his son’s baseball team along with a link to the GoFundMe platform. The page is asking for donations to reach a goal of $10,000, the goal of which is explained in the loving mother’s caption read:
“My son’s baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. You can read more about the team and make a donation here.”
The actress’ appeal for support generated a range of negative comments from fans, who slammed her request as ridiculous. Many highlight his millionaire status with one write:
“Honestly…WTF is this? Not only does she have money, her husband is one of the top agents in Hollywood. If you donate to this, you are an idiot. Back to the real world.”

Another X user echoed similar sentiments, noting the problem is more pronounced in the US with comment, “Half of all Americans can’t afford their rent right now while a millionaire deaf celebrity is electronically applying for his son’s baseball vacation on a platform full of people desperately trying to pay basic health care bills & rent. What’s the f—’s privilege?”

More social media users voiced their dismay, with one sharing more details about Milano’s wealth. Critics revealed, “Alyssa Milano is asking for donations for her son’s baseball trip. He is reportedly worth $10 million…. But wait, it gets better! Her husband is co-head of Creative Artists Agency, which manages dozens of the biggest names in Hollywood, sports & music.”
