Amanda Bynes is 300 hours shy of becoming a certified nail technician.
The former actress revealed on her Instagram Story that she is working hard at cosmetology school.
On Sunday, October 17, she shared a photo of her school gear with the caption, “Ready for school tomorrow. I have 100 hours so far.. 300 more to go before I get my license to be a nail technician!”

Amanda announced her career change earlier this month. The “She’s The Man” actor previously attended FIDM to become a fashion designer after “quitting” acting in his past.
On October 7, Bynes shared on social media, “In cosmetology college to be a manicurist!”
The text was accompanied by a mirror selfie of the “Hairspray” star wearing an all-black outfit.
She also shared a mini tour of the classroom, which resembled a nail salon.
It’s unclear how long she’s been on this cosmetology journey, but she’s proven she’s working hard on it.
She also shared updates to social media about how she’s taking a very hands-on approach to her new career. Bynes has made several visits to Sally Beauty supplies since enrolling in cosmetology school.

In addition to starting a new career, the former Nickelodeon star appears to be rekindling her relationship with her ex-fiancé, Paul Michael.
She shared a photo of herself holding hands with Michael over the weekend.

Bynes and Michael called off their engagement earlier this year following wild claims by the actress that she was back on drugs.
In April, he accused her of relapsing and using cocaine, and the police were called to her home. Amanda also told her 130k IG followers that her husband-to-be also watches mother-daughter porn, which she doesn’t mind.
However, it all seems like a big misunderstanding, as the same day the former Nickelodeon star made it clear.

She took to her real Instagram profile and posted a picture of her hand seemingly holding Paul’s hand.
“To clarify: I say what I say about Paul repeatedly because he did it. I don’t know when he got clean and because of the disturbing pornography he watches, I assume he must be on drugs now,” he wrote. “Also Paul vandalized his mother’s house 2 weeks ago. His brother Mark called the police on him but Paul left before they got there. When I saw mother and son porn on Paul’s phone, I got angry and kicked him out.”

Amanda admitted calling the police because she was afraid he would damage her house since she still had the keys to it.
“Anyway, I shouldn’t say he’s using, because he’s been sober for 2 weeks. Besides, he told me he searches for MILFs and other content that automatically fills the search engine,” he concluded.
The “Hairspray” actor also released a statement to E! News following the incident on Thursday morning.
“I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong.”
Her fiance vehemently denied the allegation that she had been using for six months.
Bynes’ statement continued, “He drug tested me from a drug test kit that I bought from CVS. Drug tests were negative for all substances. Paul and I live together. I am very sorry for the confusion I caused.”
