Amanda Kloots Acknowledges Late Husband’s Life Lessons On His 45th Posthumous Birthday

Following the passing of her husband, Nick Cordero, in July 2020 after a months-long battle with COVID-19, Amanda Kloots has been persistent in sharing her journey of coping with grief, supporting their son Elvis, and cherishing her husband’s memory. Accordingly, the dancer has marked the late Broadway veteran’s 45th birthday with a sweet post on social media.

Amanda Kloots Thanks Nick Cordero For Teaching Her How To Live Her Best Life

Kloots has highlighted some of the most valuable lessons she learned from her husband as she commemorated his birthday on September 17. Via Instagram, “The Talk” co-host uploaded a reel that begins with Cordero giving more depth to his song, “Live Your Life.”

“Go and live your life. You live and you learn and come out the other side wiser. ‘Get out of your life,’ that’s what you need to do. Live your life to the fullest,” the beloved actor said before the video cut to a still image of him opening his mouth wide.

Other photos featured in the compilation show the Canadian star napping with a hat over his eyes, holding two cups of coffee, stunning on his wedding day, and enjoying life with his wife.

Although the clip featured scenes of him spending time with Elvis, the ending led to waterworks for many as it featured Cordero hugging his baby boy and his wife in the dark.

The moment was illuminated by small lights, allowing viewers to see the “Bullets Over Broadway” actor’s hands resting in Kloots’ hair, as he snuggled up to her and held their son. Underneath the emotional scene, the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant wrote:

“Happy Birthday Nick. You will be 45 years old today! Sharing some of my favorite photos of all time.

I think we worry about getting older, worry about how old we are this year. I encourage you to celebrate. Celebrate life. That you have more time on this Earth. More time with the people you love. Every year is a blessing, an absolute miracle.”

In closing, the mother of one shared her gratitude to Cordero for “teaching me how to live my life to the fullest,” adding, “I love you baby.” As you can expect, fans flooded her comments section with happy birthday wishes and words confirming that her late husband was a great person.

“Your story has taught us all a lot, Nick. I hope you can see how your lyrics are songs we live by. We all know you now. Celebrate every day we wake up to another day. Some don’t get as many days as others. You use yours to the fullest,” commented one.

A second eagerly exclaimed, “How nice!,” a third stated, “Happy birthday Nick! Lots of good people here looking after your girl and your boy for you,” and a fourth read, “Happy birthday friend. We miss you every day,” before adding:

“I just know he’s SO PROUD OF YOU Klootsie… and you know he’s watching Elvis turn into an amazing little man. Love you all so much.”

For this year’s Father’s Day, Kloots marked the occasion with a touching tribute, sharing a variety of throwback footage and heartfelt messages dedicated to Cordero, his father Freddie Kloots and his brother Todd Kloots. As reported by The Blast, the touching slide begins with a clip of Elvis sitting on his grandfather’s lap, trying his hand at playing the drums.

The little boy was dressed in a long-sleeved mustard yellow shirt and black pants, while Freddie watched and cheered him on in a long-sleeved blue button-down shirt and jeans. The sweet boy reappears in the second slide, this time with his uncle Todd, who teaches him how to say “Happy birthday, mama.”

For the third slide, her husband was caught cradling their then baby in a baby carrier attached to her chest. With a radiant expression, he followed the rhythm of the music playing in the background.

His outfit for now includes a multi-colored plaid shirt, khaki shorts, and matching loafers, creating a charming and moving look. After praising Freddie for being “the best Dad and Grandpa,” and boasting that he won the brother lottery, Kloots gushed about Cordero in the caption, writing:

“He loved Elvis so much! He likes to play music for her and take her for walks. I really hope I get to see him be a Dad for more than 10 months. I wish I could see him now with Elvis, playing music or a monster truck. Nick is a big kid, I know he will love watching Elvis grow.
