Amanda Kloots is having a hard time holding it together as her son, Elvis Eduardo Cordero’s, fourth birthday approaches.
The daytime talk show co-host wrote a thoughtful and emotional note on her social media feed, sharing that she will never stop loving her baby boy. She has raised Elvis alone since her husband, Nick Cordero, died of complications related to COVID-19 on July 5, 2020, disrupting her life for the rest of her life.
Amanda Kloots Vows to Always Hold Elvis in Honor Ahead of Anniversary
Kloots could barely hide her feelings as she dedicated a sweet post to Elvis, who will be four years old on June 10. The doting mama bear uploaded a photo showing her holding the cub close and smiling at him as he appeared to be fast asleep.

The mother and son duo were covered by a white blanket, allowing viewers to see the gray graphic shirt worn by “The Talk” star. Beneath the sweet image is an even sweeter message that begins:
“This is us. He and I, we are a team forever. I will never forget the day we rested for three hours in each other’s arms knowing that we are now on this road just the two of us.”
“I can’t believe he’s almost four years old. I can’t believe what an amazing little boy he is,” she said before revealing that she cherished “our bond, our relationship, our love.” The dancer then promised that she would “hold him, hug him, hug him and kiss him anytime” which she got, and closed it by admitting, “It’s a privilege to be her mother. Always and forever, Elvis.”
While this isn’t the first time the “Fit for Christmas” actress has paid tribute to her son online, her fans are still excited to see her, and they expressed as much in the comments.
For example, these fans claim that they love to “witness this bond too!” and the second admits, “Best memories in the whole world. These moments. You are the best mama to your sweet and beautiful son.”
The third person exclaimed, “Ah, your relationship is golden! Enjoy the love you share deeply,” as a third person declared, “I believe it’s true that every mother feels this way, but I know there must be a special fairy who sprinkles pixie dust just for situations like yours!”
Similarly, a fourth netizen praised Kloots for being “the best mama,” adding, “Elvis is lucky to have you, and Nick picked the perfect woman to raise his son.” Others expressed gratitude that the toddler’s upcoming celebration had given his mother more time to prepare for the conversation about the grief she knew was coming.

According to The Blast, the fitness instructor stated during an interview last month that she was bracing herself for the misery she and Cordero’s son would feel when his absence finally dawned on her. The three-year-old had already begun to direct some of their conversations towards his father’s death. In his words:
“There were times when he got sad when we talked about Nick, and he said, ‘But Dada died.’ And then he’s going to be very, very sad, which is heartbreaking as a parent, obviously.”

For Mother’s Day, Kloots honors his mother, Maureen, and even credits her for teaching him how to be a mother. To that end, the mother-of-one posted two adorable parenting slides, with the first showing her holding her grandson after his birth in a white graphic top and bucket hat.
In the second photo, “The Irishman” actor and his son sit next to Maureen, who is beaming as she holds a puppy behind a gray blanket. The accompanying caption, which reflects Kloots heart, reads:
“I don’t think you fully understand how much your mother loved you until you became a mother. Thank you for loving me, Mommy, and for teaching me how to be a mother. ❤️.”
The comments section immediately came alive when one fan said, “Happy Mother’s Day, Amanda! And you are right. You don’t understand how much love a mother has for her little one until she becomes a mother herself. ❤️❤️❤️.” “Where’s the onion?? Happy Mother’s Day, Amanda and Maureen Kloots;❤️,” a second person typed.
