Amanda Kloots is making the most of her vacation and the theme is ‘family.’
The last few weeks have been the happiest of times for the television personality as she and her son Elvis embarked on a summer road trip together. The mother-son duo took time off to travel to Paris, Rome, Mexico — and finally made a nostalgic entrance to Ohio to see Kloots’ parents.
So far, the dancer’s return to her home state is a refreshing feeling as she has already started sharing her childhood summer adventures with her little one and also recreating wonderful holiday memories with her mother.
Amanda Kloots Makes New Memories In Ohio With Mother And Son
Kloots recently visited Ohio with her son to spend quality time with her parents, and in her words, “there’s nothing like coming to Ohio.” While traveling, he decided to recreate a new version of a photo he had taken with his mother at an amusement park as a child.
On Monday, July 31, the co-host of “The Talk” took to her Instagram page to share an interesting selfie of her mother and her, from several years ago, in contrast to the photo that looks the same today with her 743,000 followers.

In both updates, Kloots is at the front of the toy cart, holding the steering wheel with one hand and waving with the other, while Mrs. Kloots sits in the back waving as well. Elvis joins the mother and daughter duo this time in the remake. The accompanying caption expressed the excitement of the TV host sharing his childhood memories with his mother and son. He wrote:
“Me and my mother. Then and now. I wish I could freeze time. This trip home is very special. I am so thankful for my wonderful parents and all the adventures they brought us as little kids, and now to be able to do this with Elvis. What a treat. ❤️??.”
Within hours, enthusiastic fans began showering Kloots with admiration in the comments. One person wrote, “You’re such a fun mom! You’re lucky your parents got to experience these times with you and Elvis.”
Another fan commented, “These photos are so good!! So happy for you and your sweet boy ?.” A friend reveling in the amusement park wrote, “Taking my kids on Wednesday!!! Elvis looked like he was enjoying it.”
A fourth wrote, “Amanda, you have the best family, and you and Elvis are so lucky to get to spend so much time with them! I could tell that Elvis was really enjoying it all!”
The 41-year-old actor also took time out last May to express his love for his mother on Mother’s Day. She thanked her mother for teaching her the art of motherhood and inspiring her through the difficult journey of raising Elvis alone after the death of her husband, Nick Cordero, in 2020, due to complications from Covid.
“Dancing With the Stars” contestants posted a slideshow of snaps to commemorate the special day. In the first, Maureen wears a white shirt and a brown bucket hat as she hugs her swaddled grandson.

The second photo, however, features Kloots and her son sitting next to his sweet mother, who is wearing striking red lipstick and hugging a small dog. The heartfelt message read in part:
“I don’t think you fully understand how much your mother loved you until you became a mother. Thank you for loving me, Mommy, and for teaching me how to be a mother. ❤️.”
‘The Talk’ Co-Host And Elvis’ Son Take Over Paris In Matching Outfits
Last month, while on vacation in Paris, the ‘City of Lights,’ the “Fit for Christmas” actress and her son Elvis embraced the opportunity to create lasting memories as they explored.
The Broadway star shared the image on her Instagram page for all to admire. The two were bundled up in matching outfits — they wore white and black striped tops over black pants with matching berets — and struck a few happy poses on a pillar in the courtyard of the Palais Royal.
In one frame, they sit and blow kisses at the camera. The last picture captures the happy moment when they throw off their hats to pose on the bench. The “Bullets Over Broadway” star wrote in the caption:
“Stupidity at the Palais Royal! I think it’s very important to document special moments and adventures! You can never have enough photos to look back on the happiness captured, the memories, the stories behind the shots.”
After that, he mentioned using a photographer named Katie Donnelly, who was recommended by his sister Anna. Then added: “I grabbed Elvis and I some striped shirts, two berets and voila! The lovely Magda recorded this for us, and we got to see it just a few hours later! Once I’ve chosen my favorites, the prints will be delivered to our home in LA!”
