Kloots Trying to Find Work/Life Balance
A few weeks ago, Kloots, 40, shared that it was getting harder to leave her son to work and how difficult the work/life balance was. “Saying goodbye to this little man is getting harder and harder today. We both cried today, holding each other tightly, shaking hands, hugging and kissing over and over again. This is just…this kind of parting. He understands now when I need to leave him,” he said in the post. “Work/life balance as a working mom is really hard. I love work and I love my kids. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that I don’t think you can fully understand until you’ve been on it.” He also thanked his “village” in the post. “I am so blessed to have such a wonderful village of people who help me every day. I couldn’t do anything without you. You know who you are and I am forever grateful.”

Remembering her late husband
Earlier this year before the second anniversary of her husband’s death, Kloots spoke with E! News about taking time to remember his late love. “I made it my goal last year to go on this day,” he said. “Being by the water, which has always been a safe refuge and therapy for me.” Cordero was 41 when he died of complications from COVID in July 2020. Kloots shared that he couldn’t get out of bed on the first anniversary of his death. “You never know what’s going to happen that day. You can wake up and be completely OK,” he explained. “And then you can wake up and it hits you like a ton of bricks.” Moving forward, Kloots has hope that she and her son can “celebrate instead of grieve.”
