Instead of playing soccer in high school or college, he was an all-state tennis player during his prep years. He has played for many NFL teams, including the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New England Patriots. Jedd Fisch was named head coach of the University of Arizona Wildcats football team in December 2020, his first position as a collegiate head coach.

Jedd Fisch and his wife, Amber Fisch, have been married for nearly two decades. Although Bob Stoops set several coaching records at Oklahoma, one of his most significant choices happened off the field. Bob Stoops positively touched countless lives during his incredible coaching tenure at Oklahoma, with current Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch being one of the recipients. Bob Stoops was instrumental in introducing Jedd Fisch to his future wife, Amber Fisch, during the AFCA coaches convention in 2000.

Amber dated AFCA Executive Director Grant Teaff at the time, which led to their marriage a few years later. Amber Fisch was born Amber Mosley on February 8, 1976. She is originally from Texas, although she has also lived in California. Jedd and Amber Fisch have three daughters: Zaylee Arnet Fisch (born November 10, 1998), Ashlee (born May 16, 2009), and Kendall (born December 20, 2011).

No. 14 Arizona Wildcats beat No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners in the Alamo Bowl on Thursday, 38-24. Despite leading 24-13 in the second quarter, Arizona (10-3, 7-2) rallied, capitalizing on six caused turnovers. This defensive excellence allowed Arizona to score 28 points off turnovers, giving the Wildcats their fourth 10-win season in school history. Despite giving up season-highs in yards and 24 straight points in front of 55,853 fans at the Alamodome, Arizona’s defense made critical plays.

It was Arizona’s first bowl win since 2015, and its first 10-win season since 2014. Additionally, the Wildcats’ win was their seventh in a row, tying the school record for longest winning streak in a season. It was also Arizona’s sixth win against a ranked opponent, the most in school history.
