Amber Riley couldn’t help but laugh when she appeared on Ziwe and was confronted about her former co-star Lea Michele and the racial disaster.

The popular talk show host always brings the craziness when he has guests on his show but something about this time is classic. Maybe it’s Riley’s great fun or maybe it’s because it’s so shady, but the host asks some tough questions about Lea and Riley has no choice but to be honest.
“Speaking of filth, you said that one of your famous co-workers is not racist,” the host said, referring to Riley’s 2020 IG Live where she took on a former co-worker who was accused of being racist.
“I wouldn’t say that Lea Michele is racist. That’s not what I said. That’s an assumption because of what’s happening right now in the world and it’s happening to Black people. I wouldn’t say that he’s racist,” Riley famously stated in the clip.
Ziwe Wants the Truth
The funny host gave Riley another chance to answer the question by asking if she actually believes now that she’s racist. They playfully didn’t name Lea the entire clip but all signs including the interview lead to the singing sensation.
“Oh, Ziwe. Umm … next question. I don’t even know how to answer,” said Riley while laughing. “Umm … I don’t know which colleague you are talking about. I have so many,” he replied calmly.
Ziwe declined a deeper answer. “Are you going to say that your famous co-worker doesn’t see race and is actually rude to all of his co-workers?” he asked to which Riley said, “I thought he would probably say he didn’t see the race, but like we talked about before, everybody saw it.”

Ziwe was fascinated by the whole thing Happy madness and welcome any additional information Riley has to offer. When asked if it was a “race war” behind the scenes Riley said, “It takes a different race. I’m the only black one.”
Happy was aired from 2009 to 2015 and it was amazing. It has a loyal following and remixed songs from all walks of popular culture. In 2020, the show lost its magical glamor when one of the cast members later accused Lea of bullying her and making racist remarks.
Lea Michele Apologizes After Backlash

It took her some time but the actress finally addressed the rumors and issued a public apology for her bad behaviour.
“One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people’s perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices they face.”
He went on to say, “Although I don’t recall ever making this particular statement and I never judge others based on their background or skin color, that’s not the point. What matters is that I clearly acted in a way that hurt others.”
Finally, Lea expressed her privilege.
“Whether it was my special position and perspective that caused me to come across as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and I was just difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain I caused. We can all growing and changing and I’ve definitely used the last few months to reflect on my own weaknesses.”
It seems that Lea will not live in the near future.
