On 17 July 2018, Amber engaged in a verbal war with Maulana Ejaz Arshad Qasami during the Fatwa Nida Khan case debate on Zee Hindustan. The fight turned when Qasami used abusive words for Amber and Supreme Court advocate Farah Faiz. Later, he also continued to slap Farah on national television.
