Ambika Rao is an Indian actress and assistant director who mostly works in Malayalam films. She is best known for her role as Baby’s mother in the Malayalam film Kumbalangi Nights (2019). He died on June 27, 2022 after a heart attack.

Death

Ambika died on 27 June 2022 in Ernakulam, Kerala due to a heart attack. Before his death, he was also diagnosed with Covid-19. In 2017, he was hospitalized after his kidney failure. In 2019, he was diagnosed with dialysis. In 2020, he spent all his savings on his brother, who suffered a heart attack and stopped his own treatment. In 2020, he needed money for his own treatment for which he asked his fans for help. In a social media post, he wrote,

Dialysis has taken a toll on my health; I can’t work like I used to. Moreover, the restrictions and subsequent restrictions have seriously affected the film industry and my job opportunities. We need more money to pay for all the medical expenses. So I thought of starting a fundraiser on Ketto.org to get help from the public.”
