Amita Choksi was born on October 15 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling from Utpal Shanghvi School and then furthered his studies from Mithibai College. Since childhood, he was very much inclined towards acting and finally his dream came true when he got his break with the television detective series Saboot in 1998.

Career
Amita Choksi made her debut in the television industry with the serial Saboot in 1998. She gained popularity for acting in the TV serial Agniphera as Revati Singh in 2017. She also appeared as Smita Dagli, Manav-Meher’s mother in Baal Veer, an Indian fantasy television serial which starring Dev Joshi in the lead role, aired on SAB TV in 2012.
Amita is a dedicated woman and whatever role she does, she puts her heart and soul into it. It was due to her hard work and perseverance that she went on to get several roles in TV serials like Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Puan Tendulkar, Mitti Ke Rang, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Teri Bhi Chup Meri Bhi Chup, Gumraah, Shriman Shrimati, etc.
He received huge popularity for acting in the TV series Sanjog which was a remake of the Telugu series Ganga Manga. It will explore the intricacies of the relationship between two different mothers from very different backgrounds and their respective daughters.
