Amruta met Indian TV actor Himmanshoo Malhotra in the TV reality show ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ (2004), where they were both contestants. They are both friends and have been dating for almost 10 years. While they were dating, they broke up once, and there were rumors of Amruta dating a music director. Later, the two got back together and on January 24, 2015, the couple got married in Delhi.

Career
Amruta participated as a contestant in the talent search show, ‘India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj’ (2004), which aired on Zee TV. In 2005, he acted in Hindi TV series, such as ‘Ada’ and ‘9/11 Time Bomb.’ In 2006, she made her debut in the Marathi film, ‘Golmaal,’ where she played a double role.
He is one of the popular Marathi film actors and has acted in various Marathi films, such as ‘Zhakaas’ (2011), ‘Satrangi Re’ (2012), ‘Welcome Zindagi’ (2015), ‘Ani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ (2018). ), and ‘Choricha Mamla’ (2020).
