Actress and comedian Amy Schumer recently called out Kanye West for his many Anti-Semitic social media posts. The actress’ Emmy award-winning show, “Inside Amy Schumer,” is gearing up to return to television after a six-year hiatus.

Schumer talked about a number of things during the New York premiere of the sketch comedy show, one of which was fashion designer West’s recent threatening messages against Jews. The comedian himself is Jewish and asked social media outlets to remove the rapper’s anti-Semitic posts.

West recently sparked public outrage for his comments on social media. Jews are not the only ones talking about the rapper as he previously held a “White Lives Matter” themed fashion show and expressed his doubts about the cause of George Floyd’s death.

During the premiere of “Inside Amy Schumer” in New York, the actress spoke with her Additional and expressed his feelings about the West’s recent anti-Semitic social media posts. The Jewish comedian claimed the rapper’s post should be called out and brought to book by the social media he made comments on.

“I think it’s very important that we call it out,” Schumer said. “Kanye West is an anti-Semite, and hates Jews and spreads hate speech. These social media channels, they have to follow their own rules.”

The “I Feel Pretty” actress went on to say that allowing statements like theirs to be guarded is “harmful,” and it needs to be removed immediately. “They have to enforce their own rules,” Schumer continued. “I found 84 percent of their hateful tweets were just allowed to continue. They didn’t take them down… We can’t allow that, it’s dangerous.”

West made several anti-Semitic posts on Twitter hours after making similar comments on Instagram. The rapper promised to go “death con 3 On JEWS.” However, the post was taken down by Twitter for violating its policy.

In response to the backlash, the “Donda” singer claimed that black people were Jews and insisted that they were the people her tweet was referring to. He wrote, “black people are actually jews too You have played me and tried to blackmail anyone who opposes your agenda.”

The rapper’s tweet has been taken down; however, his Twitter account remains unchanged. Instead, West’s Instagram account was banned by Meta after his statement violated their policy.

While talking to E! News at the launch of “Inside Amy Schumer,” the actress revealed that writing the season felt like a “dream” to the crew after six long years. “Getting back together, writing a season of our show is just a dream,” she said. “It feels so good. It feels so bright.”

Schumer also went into great detail about her thoughts on stand-up and cancel culture. He encourages everyone to “educate” themselves and do better overall. “I think anybody who says… ‘Oh, people are taking themselves too seriously now.’ I think they’re the problem. I think we all need to educate ourselves and do better,” said the host of the show.

“I know I’ve done my best to educate myself and learn that some of the things I joke about are not funny and dangerous. I think everyone should do that, and if they don’t, they’re on the wrong side of history.”

“Inside Amy Schumer” originally launched in 2013 and ran until 2016; however, the popular show went on hiatus for six years. Schumer is the creator and host of the series, and in its first two years, the show was given a Peabody Award. The comedy sketch show also won two Primetime Emmy awards out of eight nominations.

The comedian is back hosting the sketch comedy series once again and revealed that while on the show, he will make sure interesting hot topics are the order of the day.

The Emmy award winner told Additional“We’re doing it this season. We’re just having fun. We’re talking about things we care about, but we’re really stupid… We’re not shying away from the topic… I think people will laugh, be a little surprised, but hopefully learn something and feel better.”
