It seems Hilaria Baldwin, wife of actor Alec Baldwin, and comedian Amy Schumer, are not friends.
Yoga instructors are often criticized for speaking with a “fake” Spanish accent. Although she has tried to refer to her Spanish heritage several times, Hilaria Baldwin was actually born Hillary Thomas in Boston, Massachusetts.
During his new Netflix special, the “Trainwreck” star didn’t stop there. He also criticized Hilaria’s decision to have seven children with the 65-year-old actor. The latest “Baldwinito”, as Hilaria calls them, was born last September.

In her new Netflix special, “Dating Crisis,” the “Inside Amy Schumer” star jokes that “Hilaria from España” is actually “Hillary from Boston.” Amy told her audience that Hilaria “is not Spanish at all — her parents are not from Spain, nobody in her life is from Spain,” in comments transcribed by Page Six.
Amy also took aim at Hilaria’s “total number of von Trapp children,” joking that Hilaria gave them “Spanish names like Jamón and Croqueta and Flamenco.” Amy insists that she’s not trying to “bully sociopaths,” adding that Hilaria and her husband “don’t give an af—” about using cultural identities.
He also took aim at the “30 Rock” actor for fatally shooting “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film on October 21, 2021. Although the actor was charged criminally in her death, the charges were dropped pending further investigation. However, they were dismissed without prejudice, meaning he could still face charges in the future.

My point is that neither of them give—.” He revealed at a show in Las Vegas that he had intended to make a joke about the “Rust” shooting when he hosted the Oscars, but his lawyers didn’t want him to.
“’Don’t Look Up’ is the name of the movie? More like don’t look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun. I’m not allowed to say that, but you can come and [slap] someone,” he joked, referring to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.

In a since-deleted Instagram post from December 2020, the comedian posted a photo featuring him wearing sunglasses and an oversized beach hat. “I get it. I went to Spain a few times and loved it too,” she wrote at the time, per Page Six.
The caption also included a cucumber emoji after Baldwin kept “forgetting” the English word for the vegetable during a segment for the “Today” show. Amy isn’t the only one taking aim at the podcast host, as a deleted tweets from Leni Briscoe published around the same time, read, “You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade-long angst in which she masquerades as Spanish.”

In an Instagram video at the same time, Hilaria explained, “If I’ve spoken a lot of Spanish, I tend to mix it up or if I’ve spoken a lot of English, I mix it up, it’s one of those things that I’ve always been a little insecure about.” She admits that she is a “white girl” and that her “family is white.” She notes that she spent “part of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain.”
However, it seems many fans aren’t buying it. On Leni deleted tweets, one fan commented, “Thanks for calling out Hilaria’s hilarious cultural appropriation. Those of us with real Spanish or Hispanic heritage are not particularly outraged by the distribution but are perplexed by the seemingly unnecessary actions. Es un tonto de Alec.”

His accent wasn’t the only thing fans questioned. She also has a habit of “oversharing” on Instagram that fans say makes them feel uncomfortable.
For example, earlier this month, he talked about a story featuring Alec Baldwin recovering from hip surgery that somehow turned into a story about how he picked up cat poop with his bare hands thinking it was a black crayon.
