He called the media Twitter for their failure to report Fiona’s impact while consistently reporting the death of Queen Elizabeth II. He wrote

“Guys, I respect the Queen as much as the next person. My condolences to the British people and all who loved her. But can I get some news and footage of Fiona’s impact in Puerto Rico? For those who need a reminder, they are American citizens in trouble.”

One person commented, “The coverage of our non-queen is so ridiculous. And the newscasters who ask bland questions trying to make it interesting fail miserably. I gathered this by walking in front of the TV and quickly walking away.”

Another added, “3.1 million Americans at risk. They had 30 inches of rain in a matter of hours, leaving entire islands without power or running water creating a massive humanitarian crisis, but yes, a dead ex-king with most of the station ceremony is more important.”

As the rain continued, floodwaters rose, submerging cars, first-floor apartments, and even airport runways. Everything is covered with brown water.

The entire island experienced a power outage for over 24 hours. Although some remote areas received light later, nearly 1.3 million customers remained without power early Tuesday morning. This disorder is responsible for one of the deaths in the entire island. It was reported that a 70-year-old man died when he tried to refill a running generator with gasoline, setting it on fire.

Another 58-year-old man died when he was swept away by the overflowing La Plata river behind his home in Comerio.

In addition to the deaths already reported, officials in the Dominican Republic told local media that a man in his 60s died when a tree fell on him in Nagua. This makes a total of four deaths from Cyclone Fiona.

Fiona’s economic impact on the country cannot be ignored. The founder of Accuweather, Dr. Joel N. Myers, estimates that Fiona will have an economic impact of $10 billion on the country and can be compared to a severe recession.

“Puerto Rico’s GDP is about $103 billion a year,” Myers said. “The economic impact of around $10 billion is slightly less than 10 percent of GDP, but, significantly, it is equivalent to a severe recession.”

Howard Stern Has Had Enough of Queen Elizabeth II’s Death

Navarro is not the only person who wants the US media to stop the continuous coverage of His Majesty’s death.

Earlier, The Blast reported that Howard Stern had seen enough coverage of the king’s death. The host went on a tirade in his talk show segment, insulting the US media for their continued coverage of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

In his unabashed opinion, he doesn’t understand why the US media is obsessed with covering the fact that America doesn’t run a monarchy.
