Biography/Wiki

Anand Ahuja was born on 29 July 1985 in New Delhi. He grew up in Delhi’s posh Jor Bagh area and now lives in Golf Links, a neighborhood in New Delhi. His grandfather, Harish Ahuja, ran one of India’s largest export houses, Shahi Exports, and Anand was its managing director. He is the owner of a popular clothing brand called Bhane. He also owns VegNonVeg, India’s first multi-brand footwear store.

Physical appearance

As a sports fan, he is a ‘built’ man who is about 5′ 9″ inches tall and weighs around 65 kg. He has dark brown eyes, black hair and a salt and pepper beard that makes him look more presentable.

Family

Anand was born into a business class Punjabi Hindu-Khatri family.

Her father, Harish Ahuja is a businessman, and her mother, Priya Ahuja is a housewife.

He has two younger brothers- Anant Ahuja and Amit Ahuja. Indian hip hop artist Akash Ahuja is her cousin.

Wife & Children

If reports are to be believed, he first met Sonam Kapoor in 2014, when he was introduced to her fashion entrepreneur, Pernia Qureshi. Anand proposed to her within weeks of their first meeting, which she accepted after a few months.

They have always been open about their relationship and pictures of Anand and Sonam together are seen at public places, family events and vacations abroad.

Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor tied the knot on May 8, 2018 at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s mansion in Bandra, Mumbai. It is a traditional Sikh ceremony attended by their family members and close friends.

On August 20, 2022, Anand and Sonam welcomed their first child, a baby boy. In September 2022, they revealed their son’s name, Vayu.

Career

Anand is a highly educated entrepreneur who did his schooling from the American Embassy School, New Delhi. He did her Bachelor of Science, Economics, and International Relations in 2007 from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He had pursued his post-graduation studies in MBA from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, but somehow he could not complete it.

She did an internship with Deutsche Bank and worked as a Trainee Product Manager at Amazon and as an Assistant Buyer at Macy’s.

On his return to India, he initially worked in the Business Development wing of Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd. In 2012, he founded an apparel brand called Bhane.
