Just days after the musician filed for divorce from his wife, Jaylyn Chang, Paak was seen enjoying a steamy vacation with a much younger woman, who is also a singer.

Over the weekend, the Silk Sonic member was spotted in Mexico with a Dutch musician who has been identified as Sterre Marith Tapilatu. The likely lovebirds were spotted in Puerto Vallarta, holding hands as they took an intimate stroll on the beach, catching the sunset.
Tapilatu wore a simple polka-dot beach dress as she held on to the “Leave The Door Open” singer, who opted for a casual denim-on-denim outfit. At one point, the lovers were seen taking pictures of each other, showing how comfortable they were with each other.
Not sure when Paak and Tapilatu got together, but he seems to be pretty active on social media with 40,000 followers. The Dutch artist also has a stake in the music industry with over 190,000 monthly listeners on social media. Back in September, she released her EP titled “Ms. Breakup.”

Tapilatu is reportedly 24 years old, making him 13 years younger than the award-winning singer. The Blast announced that Paak filed for divorce from Chang on Friday, January 12 in a Los Angeles Court, asking for joint physical and legal custody of their two children.
The former couple share two children, Soul Rasheed (13) and Shine Tariq (6). Paak met Chang, a music student from South Korea, when he was in college. Before becoming a successful musician, Paak reportedly worked in a Marijuana farm in Santa Barbara, California. However, he was fired and became homeless with his wife and infant son.

In the divorce filing, Paak listed the date of their separation as TBD and also asked the court to end his ability to award spousal support to his ex-wife. Not sure if they have an ironclad prenuptial agreement to help divide their assets.
Chang is Paak’s second wife, and the “Make It Better” artist spoke about their marriage on “The Breakfast Club” saying, “Jaylyn is the important person.” During another interview, she credited the COVID-19 pandemic for bringing her and her mother closer to her children.
“My son really likes YouTube, so I was like ‘We should do a skit’ because he’s really funny and he dances. I started helping him make sketch films, and then he would help me edit them,” Paak told HypeBeast about how the outbreak has resulted in quality family time. “We stayed up until two or three in the morning, making this video together. It made me want to make a movie with him.”
