Modeling
Angela’s modeling career began when she won the Kingfisher Calendar Hunt Competition in 2011. After Angela finished school and turned 18, she went to Iceland to spend time with her family. After some time, he returned to Bangalore and stayed with some of his friends. There, she participated in fashion shows and did photoshoots for the Lenovo brand. He got Rs. 20,000 for filming. Until now, she had not taken modeling seriously but when one of her friends suggested her to compete in the Kingfisher Girl Hunt, she started working on herself, won the competition and then shot for the calendar. He then moved to Mumbai in 2011, and he found Mumbai really crowded and dusty. In an interview, Angela said the competition she won made her more confident. In 2013, she was a judge in the Kingfisher Calendar Girl Hunt Competition. She spoke about her experience judging the show in an interview, and said,
This year the platform is the same but the role is different. I went there as a judge for one of the episodes. The girls were a bit nervous this time because the competition was fiercer. It was great to share advice with these girls and get their feedback. The only advice I give them all is to work hard and try to give their best in whatever they do.”
Angela has worked for big designers including Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Tarun Tahiliani, Malini Ramani and Shantanu-Nikhil. She also appeared in commercials with South Indian actor Mahesh Babu.

Angela debuted in the film Sher Khan with Salman Khan in 2013. She also took Hindi classes for the film so that she could speak Hindi fluently. This news was confirmed by Sohail Khan when he said in an interview,
Yes, he has signed an exclusive contract with us. But we haven’t decided which movie or movies he will do. We think he has great potential. We will launch it.”
There were also reports that she has signed for a film named ‘Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli’ by AR Murugadoss but she denied this news. He said that South Indian films are a good platform to explore his acting skills. He talked about South Indian films in an interview and said,
Mostly in the South, voices (actors who cannot speak the language) are dubbed. Also, we were given a cue card that told us what we were talking about in English. I was told that South Indian films are a good training experience for newcomers. Their cameramen are very good I’ve heard and people there are more professional than those in Bollywood. Also, most famous heroines like Aishwarya Rai, or Sridevi or Deepika Padukone have either started or worked in South Indian films at some point in their career.”
