The celebrity couple rang in the year by confirming their relationship seven years after Gotti declared his love for Simmons in his 2015 hit single “Down in the DM.” The businessman made sure to share cute photos over the weekend, reminding fans that patience pays off.

While rumors of Simmons and Gotti being an item have been circulating for a while, the pair definitely took time to confirm it. In fact, until recently New Year’s Eve they released many photos from a recent photo shoot, confirming their engagement to each other.
Simmons kicked things off by sharing a post with three photos showing her and her new beau posing next to a black Rolls Royce in the first slide. The second image, captured inside the luxury car, features the sweet couple looking straight into the camera.
The third slide shows the Fashion Institute of Technology alum looking at her man as he helps her out of the car. Gotti looked gentlemanly, holding an umbrella in one hand and his girlfriend’s hand in the other.
In a follow-up update, the reality star uploaded a photo of the CMG rapper pouring some bubbly into his glass. The close-up shot highlights the eye-catching bling on the businesswoman’s wrists and fingers and the “Rake It Up” hitmaker’s neck.
The dress was paired with a strapless black sequin dress and a pair of red bottom Louboutin heels. Gotti is perfect for her girly style, wearing a velvet suit and all-black shoes.
A look at the comments section reveals what people are thinking, with one person declaring, “2023 will be the year of HEALTHY LOVE!!!” before instructing men to “stop chasing them “boys/streets” & start claiming & loving YOUR QUEEN!”

Gotti showed just how real he is by posting a video panning from a Rolls Royce to scan Simmons’ clothes from top to bottom. The clip, set to Lil Baby’s “Forever,” also shows the happy couple clinking their champagne flutes before taking a sip.
The “Put A Date On It” rapper also told his girlfriend, “Happy New Year, you look good,” in the post, which he captioned, “Will miss [SIC] crush since High School.” Much like Simmons’ comment section, Gotti received an influx of compliments, congratulations and compliments.
However, some fans warned him to handle the 35-year-old’s heart with care as one Instagram user admonished, “U bet don’t touch that bag,” and another pleaded, “Please don’t let us down Gotti.” It’s worth noting that Simmons had previously taken down all of his Instagram posts before going official on social media with Gotti.

Fans are excited to see Simmons return to the dating scene after the end of her engagement to — and subsequent murder of — her baby daddy, Sutton Tennyson. According to Essence, after announcing her engagement in April 2016, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star confirmed that she was pregnant and excited to grow her family.
However, the couple soon ended their engagement, and Simmons focused on raising her son, Sutton Joseph, amid events that made her “stronger.” Although she has since adjusted to being a mother, the “Diamond Making Pressure” alum still has her moments of sadness and struggle.

She added that she had “done everything” she could during her relationship with Tennyson, even going to counseling classes. The 30-year-old man’s life is more dramatic because he welcomed a child out of wedlock. Fortunately, she focused on being a good mother to Joseph, concluding:
