Loved-up Brangelina couple’s feud over their French winery, Château Miraval, continues with Angelina Jolie sharing wild allegations about Brad Pitt.
According to new court documents, the “Maleficent” star claims her ex-husband physically abused her long before the infamous 2016 plane incident that led to her filing for divorce.

In legal filings, Jolie’s legal team revealed Pitt’s alleged dark past in an attempt to release communications that would prove the 60-year-old refused to allow his ex-wife to sell their share of the French winery Chateau Miraval.
According to the actor’s lawyer, Pitt is against selling his shares unless he signs an “onerous” and “extensive” NDA. So they decided to open up about his alleged abusive past, claiming:
“Although Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie dates back to long before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marks the first time he also physically abused a child. Jolie then immediately left him.”

Documents obtained by Page Six, explained that Pitt’s NDA stipulated that Jolie would cover her “personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not.” The actor’s lawyer claims this is an attempt to stop him from speaking out about his alleged abuse.

Pitt Allegedly Wanted to Silence Jolie

The allegations against Pitt continue in the filing, with Jolie’s legal team claiming that he tried to “contract himself out” to remain silent after he discovered he had incriminating evidence against her.
In 2021, Pitt learned that Jolie had submitted a closed filing, consisting of “emails, a summary of the family’s expected testimony and other evidence” to help resolve their child custody dispute.
Before discovering the evidence, Pitt had agreed to buy Jolie’s shares in a French winery. However, she allegedly backed down because she feared her ex’s secret documents “would eventually become public,” the actress’ legal team claimed.

Jolie’s lawyer, Paul Murphy, doubled down on these claims in a statement, asserting that “Mr. Pitt refused to buy Ms. Jolie’s interest when she would not be silenced by her NDA.”
He also referenced Pitt’s 2022 lawsuit against Jolie for selling his share of the winery to another party, saying:
“By refusing to buy his interest but then suing her, Mr. Pitt is directly disputing why the NDA is so important to him and what he hopes it will bury: his abuse of Ms. Jolie and their family.”

According to Pitt, his ex-wife “secretly” sold her stake in the winery to “ruin” him and “enrich herself” as a way of getting back at him.
