Angus Cloud’s estate is on the receiving end of a lawsuit from his former manager, who claims he is owed thousands in commission payments.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the manager, Diomi Cordero, claimed the late actor stopped paying commissions without any basis long before his tragic death.

In the filing, the manager claimed that he and Cloud had an agreement for the late actor to pay ten percent (10%) of the compensation commission received, but the late star breached the contract in early 2022. The manager “has a record [Angus] made so many commission payments to him that he stopped making such payments without basis,” the filing alleged.
The document further reads, that he is “engaged in bona fide settlement negotiations with [Angus’s] legal representative, and a formal Settlement Agreement has been circulated but not agreed upon or executed.”
Cordero attached a list of commissions owed, with the highest figure being a $17,500 payment from the Ralph Lauren Cloud fragrance show, which he earned in February 2022. A $15,000 debt from the second season of “Euphoria” and a $15,000 payment from a collaboration with Atelier Luxury Group, were also included.
There were also unpaid commissions of $13,500 from Rayban Appearances and $10,000 from Reebok social media posts. Cloud’s collaborations with brands like Zara, Fila, Revolve and more are included in the filing.
This is not the first creditor claim that has been filed against the late 25-year-old man since his unfortunate death in July 2023. Cloud’s cause of death was confirmed as “acute intoxication” of various drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.
In November, the California native’s estate received a lawsuit from financial institution JP Morgan Chase, which claimed Cloud owed nearly $10,000 in credit card payments.
JP Morgan Chase said Cloud owed them $9,056.11 before his death, and the filing was served on his mother, Lisa Cloud. The filing claims “Goods and/or services purchased through generations” with the total amount owed.

Angus Cloud’s Mother Filed For Control Over His Fate
Despite dying young, Cloud left an estimated personal estate worth $1,000,000. In September, his mother filed a request to be executor of his estate, since he died without a will.
“Angus Cloud was a successful young actor, best known for his work on the HBO series “Euphoria.” After his death, he was involved in several agreements that required immediate oversight, management, and enforcement,” he said in the filing.
It continued, “Based on a review of several existing agreements, (Lisa) believes Angus grants certain rights to (the loan company), including, but not limited to, certain intellectual property and/or name, image and likeness rights. , as well as his right to receive income.”
Lisa explained in the filing that shortly before her son’s death, she “had completed acting work shortly before her death, but may not have signed all applicable agreements. This requires the immediate attention of the Company and/or the Estate to allow the project to move forward with the rights needed.”
As part of her sole executor request, the grieving mother asked the court to give her the authority to negotiate brand deals and ensure she is properly paid for acting, which has already been done.
In addition to acting roles and brand collaborations, Lisa complains that some online companies are starting to create unauthorized “print on demand” merchandise with Cloud’s image and likeness. He stated that if given the means, he would be willing to sue the company and protect its image by stopping further damage.

The doting mother added in the filing that her famous son left behind a work of art she considers priceless. “Additionally, there are many of the Decedent’s sketchbooks that the Petitioner wishes to protect, including by registering their copyrights,” the filing said. “There may be intellectual property rights and other assets owned by the Deceased that the Special Administrator is required to identify and protect immediately.”
Lisa talks about her son’s love of artwork while shutting down rumors that he killed himself. Looking back on the time leading up to Cloud’s tragic death, he wrote in a Facebook post:
“He is rearranging his room and putting things around the house with the intention of staying for a while in a house he likes. He spoke of his intention to help support his younger siblings in college, and also support his mother emotionally and financially. He had no intention of ending his life. When we hugged goodnight, we said how much we loved each other and he said he’d see me in the morning.”
The parent, who explained that she did not know what her son might have eaten, added, “I just know that he put his head on the table where he was working on an art project, fell asleep, and didn’t wake up. We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it is very clear that he had no intention of leaving this world.”
