The mother of actor Angus Cloud has spoken out about her son’s sudden death.
The “Euphoria” actress died at the family home in Oakland, California, on July 31. The 25-year-old actress was previously grieving the loss of her father, who died the previous week.

While details surrounding his death remain unclear, the actor’s mother took to Facebook to thank fans for their thoughts and prayers and suggested ways they could honor her late son’s memory.
He began his lengthy post by thanking fans for their support, writing, “Friends, I want you all to know that I appreciate your love for my family during this devastating time. I also want you to know that although my son is very saddened by his father’s death from mesothelioma, his last day was a happy one.”

His mother, Lisa Cloud, continued to recall his final days, describing how her son “rearranged his room and put things around the house with the intention of staying for a while in a home he loved. She spoke of his intention to help support his younger siblings in college , and also help his mother emotionally and financially.”
He insisted that the actor “didn’t intend to end his life” and went on to write, “When we hugged goodnight, we said how much we loved each other and he said he would see me in the morning. I don’t know if or what he might into his body after that. I just know that he put his head on the table where he was working on an art project, fell asleep, and didn’t wake up.”

“We may have found him to have accidentally and tragically overdosed, but it is very clear that he had no intention of leaving this world,” he continued. “The struggle is real. He gives and receives so much love and support to and from his tribe. Her work in euphoria became a lightning rod for her generation and opened up conversations about compassion, loyalty, acceptance, and love.
He admitted that his son had a head injury about ten years ago that “miraculously didn’t result in death like it usually does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled it with creativity and love.” Lisa went on to say that social media posts suggesting that her “death was intentional” were false, adding, “I want you to know that that’s not the case.”
“To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness a part of your daily life. Bless your heart,” he concluded. The post received thousands of likes and hundreds of comments and shares. Many fans took to the comments to offer their condolences to the family.
