The late actress’ mother took to Facebook to share her first “Euphoria” audition video, which was sent to her by a talent scout in Brooklyn. “This was just sent to me by Jennifer Venditti who reviewed Angus in Brooklyn. It was his first tape. After this was seen by the creator of Euphoria, he was asked to read for Fezco,” he wrote in the caption. “It really captures my son’s incredible spirit.” The six-minute audition tape can be viewed here.

“This is so sweet. Thanks for sharing,” commented one fan. “It broke my heart when he said the best part about life is living,” one follower shared. “This gift he shares with you, and you share with us,” said a third fan. “Thanks for sharing, Lisa. I laughed at her sneaking into the zoo story and appreciated her thoughts on love. She’s the one,” shared another follower.

“It’s amazing, Lisa. He is amazing. I watched Euphoria and fell in love with it like everyone else did. My daughter Alexis reminded me that she interviewed Angus when she was in grad school, and remembers it well. Sending you and the girls all love,” another fan commented as followers continued to send their condolences to the Cloud family.

The star of ‘Euphoria’ did not ‘intend’ to kill himself, claims the mother

On August 4, her mother left a long message to fans to share her support for the thoughts and prayers she and her family have received following the talented actor’s death. “Guys, I want you all to know that I appreciate your love for my family during this devastating time,” he began. “I also want you to know that although my son is in deep grief about his father’s death from mesothelioma, his last day was a happy one.”

“He is rearranging his room and putting things around the house with the intention of staying for a while in a house he likes. He talked about his intention to help support his younger siblings in college, and also help his mother emotionally and financially,” he continued. “He did not intend to end his life. When we hugged goodnight, we said how much we loved each other and he said he’d see me in the morning.”

“I don’t know if or what he might have put in his body after that. I just know he put his head on the table where he was working on an art project, fell asleep, and didn’t wake up,” she wrote. “We may have found he accidentally and tragically overdosed, but it’s very clear that he had no intention of leaving this world.”

“The struggle is real. He gives and receives so much love and support to and from his tribe. His work in euphoria became a lightning rod for his generation and opened conversations about compassion, loyalty, acceptance and love,” he added. “His head injury 10 years ago miraculously did not result in death as it usually does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled it with creativity and love.”

“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that that is not the case. To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness a part of your daily life. Bless your heart,” he concluded. The post received hundreds of shares and comments from “Euphoria” fans who shared their condolences with the grieving mother.

“Thank you for sharing your love and understanding for your child. Wishing you continued strength,” commented one fan. “I am so sorry for your loss! You must be a very strong person and a great wife and mother,” shared another follower. “So very sorry for your loss. May God bless and protect you in this time of sorrow and grief. He can do all things. I pray he gives you comfort and peace,” a third fan chimed in.

RIP Angus Cloud.
