When Anikha was one and a half years old, she started her acting career as a child artist in Malayalam films. In 2007, she appeared in an uncredited role in the film Chotta Mumbai where she played the role of Vasco’s daughter; the character of Vasco is played by actor Mohanlal.

In 2015, Anikha made her Tamil debut with the film Yennai Arindhaal where she played the role of Isha.
