Anjali Sivaraman is an Indian actress, model, and singer. She is best known for playing the role of Anuja Dixit in Netflix’s Hindi film ‘Cobalt Blue’ (2022).

Career
In 2014, he started working as a hospitality staff at RE Hospitality in London, UK. After returning to India, she started working as a model in Bangalore. He then moved to Mumbai and started working as an assistant director. Later, he auditioned for a TV commercial and was selected. In an interview, while talking about getting her first TV commercial, she said,
I work as an Assistant Director in a music studio in Mumbai. I was hanging out with a friend after work; he’s on his way to an audition. He asked if I was interested in coming along. I thought, why not? I’m really tired after a long day at work. My hair is a mess; I don’t wear makeup. Everyone around me was tall with long, straight hair, faces full of makeup. It was quite scary.”
He added,
I’m sure I won’t make it. By some miracle, the casting team chose me. That’s how I did my first ad for Vivo (with Ranveer Singh), incidentally. Casting directors and agencies then started approaching me. Four years on, I’m still doing it.”

Anjali has also worked as a model in print advertisements of popular Indian fashion designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Masaba Gupta.

On 2 July 2013, Anjali, along with her mother, started a software company named Darkhorse Productions Private Limited in Bangalore. In 2017, she debuted as an actress in the Hindi short film ‘Jenny’ in which she played the lead role.

- Anjali is a professionally trained singer. In an interview, when she was asked about developing an interest in singing, she said,
Music is in my blood. My mother is a singer. All our family gatherings will consist of everyone getting together and singing – that’s our idea of bonding. At school, I was in the choir. There is music all around me. I did go through this rebellious phase, where I quit singing class without telling my mom. Years later, I realized the importance of formal training, so I went back to it again.”
